So...
Yeah...

I think it might be time to pack it in and come home.

Nothing much. Just assessing my situation, and trying to consider my current options realistically. I could stick it out, and just try to get a job. I'm not really imagining that I couldn't get a job if I went for that.

It's more that I'm at a point where if I do stick it out, I'll have to go all the way with it. After another month I won't really be able to afford to come home, not without arriving as a penniless pauper.

Mostly it's just the realisation that this might not be such a bad idea. I feel like I'm at a place where I could call it quits now, feel happy with everything that I've done, and come on home.

Not that I wouldn't welcome you back with open arms, but wasn't the idea to stay out for years as opposed to weeks?

Must dash, time difference, etc! Come online some time, we'll chat! x

It would be great to see you, man.

But if you're doing this just so you can come home with a little cash, I'd say roll those dice one more time.

Ditto. You're in a beautiful place, don't give that up.

Damn.... I'm amazingly sorry to hear that :( I was rather enjoying your Canadian updates

At the risk of recycling a cliche/well worn justification for, well, everything right now, with the financial climate as it is, right now has gotta be one of the hardest possible times to try and start a new life in a different country.

Whatever you decide to do, always leave a window open. Canada will still be there if you come back - Lancaster will always be here.... Always. It's Special like that.
You've already gone further than most other people I could care to mention (certainly me - Miss "I'm going up to Cumbria now - oh look, I'm back"). If now isn't the time to continue striking out, you know you have the ability to do it again.

Maybe somewhere hotter? ;)

To quote Adama... Roll the hard 6

Tough decision to make, either way. I wish you the best of luck and will not try to convince you in either direction. Only you can know what way you need to go in your life.

On the one hand, I miss you like crazy. It would be great to have you back with us.

Oh the other hand, I remember how much you were looking forward to this, and how set you were on going through with it.

If you come back, you could save enough money to go out again - but if you come back now, it will have effectively been a long working holiday. You could do more later; the question is, do you want to do it then, or now?

And this comment comes one day after you get your internets!
More Mum talk on e-mail but I do wonder if some part of your psyche is just rebelling against all the settling in you've done. Its screaming "Hey I came for adventure not security!"
